Comedian Lee Sang-jun takes on a challenge to travel abroad and find local restaurants within 24 hours, through a new YouTube program 'Lee Sang-jun's Distant Eats' (produced by Studio Double).

■ A 24-Hour Countdown Decided by Fate at the Airport

The program is conducted by traveling to a city within a five-hour flight from Asia, having a meal at a local restaurant frequented by residents, and returning home. The destination and menu are decided randomly at the airport, and the 24-hour countdown begins the moment the destination is set. Lee Sang-jun completes his mission by finding genuine local restaurants within the limited time.

Unlike existing travel variety shows, it takes the form of an ultra-short trip focused on a single meal, rather than sightseeing or visiting famous attractions. The show consists of unexpected situations that arise on location and spontaneous communication with residents, without a script or prior planning.

■ Ad-lib Skills from 11 Years on 'Comedy Big League' and Close-up Camera Work

Based on the ad-lib skills and approachability he built over 11 years on 'Comedy Big League,' Lee Sang-jun responds to various unpredictable situations. Various filming techniques are also used, including a face close-up camera that captures Lee's reactions during transit, the local atmosphere, and unexpected situations.

This content offers vicarious satisfaction to modern people who find it difficult to take long vacations, allowing them to experience the real taste of local cuisine in a short time.

■ Launch Event Featuring Visits to Subscriber-Recommended Restaurants

To commemorate the program's launch, a subscriber event will also be held. Lee Sang-jun will personally visit overseas restaurants recommended by subscribers and select the best restaurant, with gifts given to the subscribers whose picks are chosen.

Studio Double stated, "We are launching the new YouTube content 'Lee Sang-jun's Distant Eats' and will present a 24-hour overseas restaurant survival show like nothing you've seen before. Please look forward to Lee Sang-jun's unpredictable journey as he uses his wit and quick thinking to find authentic local restaurants in unfamiliar foreign lands."

'Lee Sang-jun's Distant Eats' will be released on YouTube at 5 PM on the 28th.
