Amazon Web Services (AWS) has unveiled a global program for university students called 'Student Rewards' at the AWS Builder Center.

More than $500 million (approximately 700 billion won) will be invested in the program, which will support students worldwide in starting careers in cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) fields through education, tools, and certifications.

Who Can Participate?

Students enrolled at universities and equivalent two- to four-year higher education institutions around the world, including South Korea, are eligible. The program targets students aged 18 or older who are enrolled in regular courses pursuing a degree or professional qualification. Enrollment status is verified through SheerID authentication.

What Benefits Are Offered?

Students participating in Student Rewards will receive various benefits, including AWS credits, a 12-month premium Skill Builder subscription, premium educational content, and certification exam vouchers.

The program is designed to help students build practical skills through learning, project work, and networking with other developers. The AWS Builder Center is a space where students can master AWS technologies through hands-on workshops and community engagement, as well as connect with developers based on topics of interest or region.
