Illusionist Lee Eun-gyeol graced the stage of JTBC's 'Knowing Bros' with a large-scale magic show celebrating his 30th debut anniversary.

On the 541st episode of 'Knowing Bros' aired on the 29th, Lee Eun-gyeol appeared alongside Ji Sang-ryeol, Fromis 9's Park Ji-won, and Billlie's Tsuki.

From the opening, Lee Eun-gyeol led the atmosphere with his signature wit. Mentioning his connection with the late Jeon Yu-seong, he shared an anecdote about attempting to use a lion in a performance in Cheongdo in the past, which fell through due to safety concerns.

He also explained the differences in audience reactions across three East Asian countries. Japanese audiences respond actively, while Chinese audiences tend to converse a lot during shows, he noted. Korean audiences, he said, watch with arms crossed at first, but he feels most rewarded when he sees them marvel at the highlights of the performance.

He also cleared up rumors that he 'married his beautiful assistant.' Lee Eun-gyeol explained that he had actually asked his girlfriend, who majored in Korean traditional dance, to take on the assistant role.

The centerpiece of the broadcast was Lee Eun-gyeol's 30th anniversary magic show. He shared his impressions of going from street performances in his high school days to performing at the National Theater, LG Arts Center, and the Seoul Arts Center, and finally reaching the stage of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts.

In the studio, he presented a trick in which a bird drawn on paper turned into a real bird and then returned to the drawing. He also unveiled new technology in which champagne and cryptocurrency inside a tablet transformed into real objects and a large stack of bills.

He then staged a water-splash mishap with Kwak Beom, and showcased a variety of performances, including a levitation mime using smoke and a teddy bear illusion inside a Christmas box. In the final stage, a beautiful assistant emerged from a burning box, after which Lee Eun-gyeol and the assistant instantly swapped positions in a teleportation trick, leaving a strong impression on the cast.

Lee Eun-gyeol raised anticipation for the main performance, saying, 'If you come to the 30th anniversary show, you'll be able to see much more than what you saw today. Today was just a taste.' Just before the broadcast ended, the cast members presented a 30th anniversary celebration cake, wrapping up on a warm note.
