In the voting race held throughout August, 'Sal-mok-ji' secured a total of 25,055 votes, defending first place with a 47.8% share. It steadily maintained the 47.9% share recorded in July, firmly solidifying its lead in the film category.

At the top of the rankings, a close two-way battle between first and second place continued from July. '20th Century Girl' harvested 24,587 votes, firmly holding second place with a 47.0% share. The combined share of the two films reached 94.8% of the total votes, highlighting a pronounced concentration of votes in the top two works.

This directly reflects the popularity of the lead actors. Kim Hye-yoon, the lead actress of 'Sal-mok-ji,' took first place in the August Netizens' Awards Best Actress category, while Byeon Woo-seok, the lead of '20th Century Girl,' ranked first in the Best Actor category.

■ Fierce Battle Decided by Just 6 Votes... Intense Competition in Middle Rankings

In the middle of the rankings, a fierce contest unfolded in which positions were decided by a margin of just 6 votes. 'There's Nothing I Can Do' earned 997 votes (1.9%), defending third place from July, while '30 Days' closely followed in fourth with 991 votes (1.9%). 'The Childe' then settled in fifth place with 243 votes (0.5%).

In the lower rankings, film fans' supportive votes were tallied for their chosen works until the very end. 'Zombie Daughter' secured 153 votes (0.3%), climbing one step from seventh place in July to take sixth, while 'Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint' ranked seventh with 124 votes (0.2%).

'Eyes' and 'Hope,' which newly entered the rankings in August, each garnered 76 votes, sharing eighth place with an identical vote share of 0.1%. 'The Man Who Lives with the King' ultimately harvested 63 votes (0.1%), closing out the August Film Grand Prize race in tenth place.
