Byun Woo-seik held onto the top spot in the August Netizen Awards male acting category voting, claiming first place for the sixth consecutive month.

According to results tallied throughout August, Byun Woo-seok recorded a 49.0% vote share with a total of 25,600 votes. This is a 4.0 percentage point increase from his July figure (45.0%), an overwhelming lead approaching half of all votes. Byun is set to appear in his next project, the Netflix series 'Solo Leveling,' playing the lead role of Sung Jinwoo.

■ Top Tier: Fierce Competition to Defend Second Place and Enter Upper Ranks

In the top tier, a competition for votes unfolded among contenders vying to defend second place and break into the upper ranks.

Romon recorded a double-digit share of 10.7% with 5,619 votes, firmly securing second place following July. Rowoon maintained third place with 3,191 votes (6.1%), while Lee Joon-gi gathered 2,882 votes (5.5%), moving up one step from fifth place in July to fourth. Park Bo-gum then settled in fifth with 2,764 votes (5.3%), and Jang Ki-yong anchored sixth with 1,893 votes (3.6%), forming the chasing group behind the leader.

■ Middle Tier: Lee Junho Succeeds in Entering Top 10

In the middle-tier rankings, actors defending their existing positions were locked in a tight competition to enter the top 10.

Kim Nam-gil took seventh with 1,742 votes (3.3%), Lee Min-ho eighth with 1,526 votes (2.9%), and Jang Keun-suk ninth with 1,127 votes (2.2%), all defending their July rankings. Lee Junho, who was 11th in July, gained 1,028 votes (2.0%), rising one spot to seize the last position in the top 10.

■ 11th–15th Place: Ultra-Close Vote Battle

In the lower-middle ranks from 11th to 15th place, tightly contested vote margins continued.

Um Tae-goo placed 11th with 1,019 votes (1.9%), Bae In-hyuk 12th with 766 votes (1.5%), and Na In-woo 13th with 736 votes (1.4%). Park Hyung-sik then ranked 14th with 571 votes (1.1%), and Song Kang 15th with 541 votes (1.0%).

■ Lower Tier: Seo In-guk Rises, So Ji-sub Enters as Newcomer

In the lower tier, fans' supporting votes for each actor were counted until the very end.

Seo In-guk earned 428 votes (0.8%), taking 16th place after rising two spots from 18th in July. Kim Sun-ho came in 17th with 395 votes (0.8%), and Park Ji-hoon placed 18th with 167 votes (0.3%). So Ji-sub, who newly joined the rankings in August, rose to 19th with 154 votes (0.3%), while Kim Soo-hyun received a final tally of 123 votes (0.2%), finishing the August male acting award race in 20th place.
