Doosan Enerbility has won a contract for the Hadong combined cycle power plant construction.

The company announced in a regulatory filing on the 1st that it signed a conditional lump-sum installation purchase contract worth 665.85 billion won with Korea Southern Power for the Hadong combined cycle power plant. The contract amount excludes value-added tax and equals 3.9% of the company's most recent revenue of 17 trillion 578.764 million won based on the consolidated financial statements at the end of 2025.

The sale and supply location is Gadeok-ri, Geumseong-myeon, Hadong-gun, South Gyeongsang Province. The contract period runs from January 2, 2027 to December 31, 2029, with the start date marking the commencement of construction and the end date the scheduled commercial operation date. The contract date is September 1, 2026, based on the contract signing date.

There is a down payment and advance payment, and the consideration will be paid as progress payments based on the completion rate and delivery performance.

Meanwhile, Doosan Enerbility stated that the contract amount, contract period, and scale of construction may be subject to change during the course of the project.
