Hwang Young-woong defended the top spot in the male singer category voting for the August Netizen Awards. Hwang recorded a vote share of 42.7% with a total of 62,485 votes. This figure represents a 5.0 percentage point increase from his July share (37.7%), pulling his share back above the 40% mark and proving his unwavering position at the top.

Jang Min-ho Leaps to 2nd Place… Shake-Up in the Top Ranks

A ranking shake-up emerged in the race for 2nd place at the very top. Jang Min-ho, who was 4th in July, jumped to 2nd with 14,751 votes (10.1%). Son Tae-jin settled into 3rd place with 11,421 votes (7.8%), while Choon-gil, who was 2nd in July, ranked 4th with 7,636 votes (5.2%). Jin-won held onto 5th place, the same as in July, with 6,429 votes (4.4%).

6th–10th Place: Fierce Competition for Votes

In the middle ranks, a tight contest unfolded between artists who succeeded in climbing the rankings and existing upper-tier contenders. Enoch, who was 10th in July, surged to 6th place with 5,420 votes (3.7%). Seo Young-taek recorded 7th place with 5,367 votes (3.7%), just narrowly behind Enoch, while Min Soo-hyun, who was 6th in July, placed 8th with 5,207 votes (3.6%). Jung Dong-won took 9th place with 4,540 votes (3.1%), and Song Min-jun entered the last spot in the top 10 with 4,358 votes (3.0%).

11th–15th Place: Contests Decided by a Single Vote

In the 11th–15th place bracket, races decided by a single vote continued fiercely. Park Ji-hyun remained in 11th place with 4,148 votes (2.8%), and Park Chang-geun recorded 12th with 3,928 votes (2.7%). Young-tak held onto 13th place with 2,061 votes (1.4%), while Ahn Sung-hoon placed 14th with 1,827 votes (1.2%) and Kang Hyung-ho landed 15th with 1,716 votes (1.2%).

16th–20th Place: Fan Support Tallied Until the Very End

In the lower half of the rankings, fans' support for their artists was tallied until the very end. Hong Isak settled into 16th place with 1,523 votes (1.0%), Lee Chan-won took 17th with 1,350 votes (0.9%), and Park Seo-jin claimed 18th with 1,254 votes (0.9%). Park Hyo-shin placed 19th with 509 votes (0.3%), and Im Young-woong received a final tally of 280 votes (0.2%), finishing the August male singer category race in 20th place.
