Jang Han Byul Tops Rankings for Second Consecutive Month

Jang Han Byul secured first place for the second month in a row in the Neo Star Award voting for the singer category at the August Netizen Awards, firmly maintaining the lead.

In the race held from August 1 to 31, Jang Han Byul earned a total of 36,987 votes, recording a 44.6% share. This figure rose 2.3 percentage points from the 42.3% achieved in July, proving an unwavering lead.

Notably, Jang Han Byul also ranked first in the Celebrity Award category, achieving a first double crown, drawing attention to his upcoming activities in September.

Top 3 Holds Firm... Hwanhee 2nd, Kim Ji Hoon 3rd

In the uppermost tier of the Neo Star Award, candidates trailing the leader engaged in a heated voting competition.

Hwanhee harvested 20,784 votes, firmly securing second place with a high 25.1% share, following July. Nearly doubling his vote count compared to July, he fiercely chased the leader.

Kim Ji Hoon of Liberante secured 7,784 votes, taking third place with a 9.4% vote share and maintaining a solid top 3 lineup. Jin Wook followed in fourth with 4,680 votes (5.6%), and Kim Jung Yeon recorded fifth with 3,771 votes (4.5%), stably maintaining the upper-tier competition structure.

Race to Enter Top 10... Seong Ri Rises Three Spots

In the mid-tier rankings, established contenders defended their positions while a battle unfolded for entry into the top 10.

Yoo Chaehoon recorded sixth with 2,101 votes (2.5%), and Kim Yong Bin seventh with 1,319 votes (1.6%), maintaining their July rankings. Jo Min Gyu received 1,162 votes (1.4%), moving up one spot from ninth in July to eighth, while Lee Solomon received 943 votes (1.1%) to sit in ninth. Seong Ri, who was 13th in July, gained 708 votes (0.9%), climbing three spots to seize the last spot in the top 10.

Places 11-15 Decided by Razor-Thin Vote Margins

In the lower-mid tier from 11th to 15th place, tightly contested vote margins continued.

Nam Seung Min ranked 11th with 688 votes (0.8%), and Haru, newly entering this month, placed 12th with 578 votes (0.7%). Cheon Rokdam leaped three spots from 16th in July to take 13th with 352 votes (0.4%), Park Min Soo settled at 14th with 281 votes (0.3%), and Choi Jae Myung landed at 15th with 223 votes (0.3%).

Places 16-20, Race Concludes with Fans' Steady Support

In the lower-tier rankings, fans' steady support for each artist was tallied.

Lee Soo Yeon rose to 16th with 205 votes (0.2%), and Eunho of PLAVE recorded 17th with 124 votes (0.1%). Austin Kim placed 18th with 113 votes (0.1%), Han Roro sat at 19th with 68 votes (0.1%), and Gil Yewon received a final 63 votes (0.1%) to finish 20th, concluding the August Neo Star Award race.
