MBN's variety show 'The Legendary Sons' maintained its No. 1 spot among Wednesday variety programs for the seventh consecutive week.

In the episode aired on the 26th, 'The Legendary Sons' recorded a peak viewership rating of 4.6%. The episode was prepared as a 'Gods of the Workplace' special. TOP7 (Seongri, Haru, Jang Han Byul, Hwang Yunseong, Jung Yeonho, Lee Changmin, and Irene) and the Job-Changers 7 (Jin Simon, Kim Yongpil, Park Hyeshin, Lee Seungyoon, Shinseong, Yoon Soohyun, and Choi Woojin) appeared and staged various performance battles under the theme of the jobs or dreams they had before becoming singers.

MCs Jang Minho and Yang Sehyung wore the outfits of a chief fisherman and a wallpaper installer, respectively. Yang Sehyung introduced that his mother does wallpapering work, and Seongri revealed he was a former wallpaper installer.

TOP7 transformed into a born-to-be idol, a fruit shop youth, a dental school student, a kids cafe teacher, an auto mechanic, a 2AM youth, and an insurance agent to decorate their stages. The Job-Changers 7 featured Assistant Manager Jin Simon, former announcer Kim Yongpil, beauty reporter Park Hyeshin, Lee Seungyoon known for 'I Am a Natural Person,' all-around employee Yoon Soohyun, gardener Shinseong, and hotelier Choi Woojin. Season 1 MC Kim Daeho made a surprise appearance and performed together on TOP7's 'Cheontaemansang' stage.

Results of the Mission Battles

In the 'God of Part-Time Work' mission, Haru and Choi Woojin faced off, with Choi Woojin winning.

In the 'God of Management' battle, Irene won with an ATEEZ 'BAD' challenge and a 'Pomnage Sal Geoya' stage, while Seongri and Lee Seungyoon also took on the 'BAD' challenge.

In the 'With Ri' mission, Jin Simon praised Seongri, saying, 'Seongri has a glow about him. But his price is expensive.' Seongri countered with 'Doom Doom Doom,' and Jin Simon took the victory with 'The Pain of Waiting.'

In the 'God of Job Transfer,' Kim Yongpil talked about his feelings when he quit his job as an announcer, and Kim Daeho empathized. Lee Changmin sang 'Promise Is Like the Wind' with female dancers, and Kim Yongpil won with 'Grow Old with Me,' composed by Lee Changmin.

In the 'God of Brains' mission, Yoon Soohyun revealed that she once ranked fifth in her school, while Jang Han Byul introduced his record of ranking first in his school, winning an Olympiad prize, and attending the dentistry program at a prestigious Australian university, and won with 'Heartache.' Afterwards, Seongri and Jin Simon moved the audience by singing 'Mother' as a duet.

In the 'God of Nature' mission, Lee Seungyoon conducted a courage test, and Jang Han Byul and Seongri were shown being startled by a creature in a box. Irene showed his affection for Park Hyeshin, saying, 'You are beautiful,' and 'My ideal type is Park Hyeshin,' and holding her hand said, 'Correct answer! Slender jade-like hands!' In the 'Woodcutter' battle between Lee Seungyoon and Jung Yeonho, Jung Yeonho won.

In the final 'God of Gab' mission, Hwang Yunseong and Park Hyeshin took the stage, and Jung Yeonho beat his opponent with 'My Dearest.' Park Hyeshin complimented him, saying, 'I want to join your fan club,' but the final victory went to Hwang Yunseong. As a result, TOP7 took the overall win.

'Unknown Legends' Rises in the Gallup Korea Rankings

Meanwhile, 'Unknown Legends,' the show on which 'The Legendary Sons' is based, ranked 13th in the Gallup Korea survey on 'Broadcast Video Programs Koreans Love' conducted in August, three months after its finale. This was a four-step rise from July.
