tvN's 'Lovely Runner' retained the top spot in the August Netizens' Choice Awards Best Drama voting category for the acting division, extending its record of consecutive monthly wins to eight.

In the voting race held from August 1 to 31, 'Lovely Runner' earned a total of 22,649 votes, recording a 72.9% share. This figure represents a 4.4-percentage-point increase over the 68.5% achieved in July, confirming its overwhelming lead with more than 70% of all votes cast.

Behind the leader, competition among drama fans continued in the top ranks over holding second place and securing a spot in the top three. MBC's 'Marry My Husband' gathered 2,293 votes (7.4%), firmly defending its second-place position from July, while MBC's 'My Dearest' maintained third place with 1,778 votes (5.7%). ENA's 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' then took fourth place with 1,476 votes (4.8%), and JTBC's 'King the Land' settled in fifth with 747 votes (2.4%), solidifying the upper-tier competitive landscape.

In the middle and lower ranks, a tightly contested battle unfolded with rankings decided by just a few votes. tvN's 'Crash Landing on You' defended sixth place with 669 votes (2.2%), while MBC's 'The Red Sleeve' rose one spot from eighth place in July to seventh with 537 votes (1.7%). SBS's 'My Demon' recorded eighth place with 485 votes (1.6%), and tvN's 'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha' came in ninth with 303 votes (1.0%). Finally, Coupang Play's 'Things That Come After Love' received 132 votes (0.4%), rounding out the rankings in tenth place.
