Son Tae-jin firmly held on to first place in the Broadcast Grand Prize category of the August Netizen Awards' Best division, achieving his 27th consecutive monthly victory.

In the August vote, Son Tae-jin earned a total of 11,191 votes, recording a high share of 61.6%. Following his 66.1% in July, he maintained more than 60% of the overall vote, continuing his lead in the Broadcast Grand Prize category. It is a popularity that would make him worthy of being called an icon of the Broadcast Grand Prize.

In the top tier, a ranking competition unfolded among contenders chasing the leader. Yoo Jae-suk kept his second-place spot from July with 2,309 votes (12.7%), while Lee Chan-won secured a double-digit vote rate with 1,847 votes (10.2%) to settle in third, forming the top-three line in the upper ranks.

Just below, Kang Ho-dong rose one step from fifth place in July to fourth with 975 votes (5.4%), and Gian84 ranked fifth with 535 votes (2.9%).

In the middle and lower ranks, a tight vote contest played out with rankings decided by just a few votes. Joo Woo-jae gathered 460 votes (2.5%) to move up from seventh place in July to sixth. Jeon Hyun-moo took seventh with 359 votes (2.0%), and Lee Seung-gi recorded eighth with 348 votes (1.9%). Jang Do-yeon placed ninth with 68 votes (0.4%), while Yang Sang-guk, who newly entered the rankings in August, finished the August vote in tenth place with a final tally of 63 votes (0.3%).
