Hwang Young-woong firmly defended his first-place position in the August Netizen Awards brand division Fanbook Grand Prize voting. The result confirmed the powerful voting power of fandom paradise, to the extent that people said, "As expected of Hwang Young-woong."

In the voting held throughout August, Hwang Young-woong harvested a total of 62,100 votes, defending the top spot with a support rate of 25.8%. Based on solid fandom firepower in the mid-20 percent range, he surpassed the 60,000-vote mark, firmly cementing his lead in the brand division.

■ Jang Han-byeol and Jung Seo-joo Complete the Top 3

In the upper ranks following the leader, candidates who secured double-digit shares stood out. Jang Han-byeol took second place with 34,873 votes for a high support rate of 14.5%, while Jung Seo-joo secured 26,847 votes (11.2%) to settle in third place, forming a solid top-three line.

■ 4th to 8th Places in the 10,000-Vote Club, Heated Competition in the Upper Ranks

Hwanhee ranked fourth with 19,284 votes (8.0%), and Byeon Woo-seok recorded fifth place with 19,085 votes (7.9%), a narrow margin, heating up the competition in the upper ranks. Jang Min-ho placed sixth with 14,161 votes (5.9%), Son Tae-jin seventh with 11,010 votes (4.6%), and Kim Hye-yoon eighth with 11,336 votes (4.3%), all making it into the 10,000-vote club.

■ Middle Ranks, Ranking Battle Between Groups and Individual Artists

In the middle of the rankings, a fierce ranking battle unfolded between groups and individual artists. Librete took ninth place with 6,515 votes (2.7%), and Bin Ye-seo ranked tenth with 6,408 votes (2.7%), completing the top-10 line. Enok placed eleventh with 4,882 votes (2.0%), Min Soo-hyun twelfth with 4,770 votes (2.0%), and Jung Dong-won thirteenth with 4,230 votes (1.8%). Chun-gil followed in fourteenth with 3,810 votes (1.6%), and Park Ji-hyun settled in fifteenth with 3,507 votes (1.5%).

■ Fandom Voting Sentiment Extends to the Lower Ranks

Even in the lower ranks, fans' support for their stars was tallied until the very end. Maijin rose to sixteenth place with 2,550 votes (1.1%), and Song Ga-in took seventeenth with 2,464 votes (1.0%). Cho Yong-pil received 1,791 votes (0.7%) to rank eighteenth, while Fortena recorded nineteenth place with 1,019 votes (0.4%). Finally, Lee Se-young harvested 884 votes (0.4%) to rise to twentieth place.
