Snowflake (SNOW) surged more than 20% in after-hours trading on the back of surprise earnings, dramatically reversing its recent trend. The rally was fueled by quarterly results that beat market expectations and an upward revision of its full-year outlook, reigniting investor sentiment.
As of 7:06 a.m. on the 3rd, Korea time, Snowflake was trading at $373.89 in after-hours trading, up 22.2% from its regular session closing price.
Earlier, Snowflake finished the regular session on the 2nd (local time) at $305.84, down $13.96 (4.3%) from the previous day. However, following its earnings release after the closing bell, the stock's trajectory completely reversed, jumping more than 20% in after-hours trading.
The results exceeded market expectations. Snowflake's total revenue for the second quarter of fiscal year 2027 came in at $1.55 billion. Adjusted earnings per share (EPS) were $0.62, surpassing the market consensus of $0.45.
With shares that had fallen more than 4% in the regular session soaring over 20% immediately after the earnings announcement, market attention now turns to the next regular session's opening.
