Boy group 82MAJOR (Nam Seong-mo, Park Seok-jun, Yoon Ye-chan, Cho Seong-il, Hwang Seong-bin, Kim Do-gyun) made their comeback on the 1st with the release of their second single 'HEAT'.

Through their new release 'HEAT', 82MAJOR portrays gradually building energy and the explosive heat of climactic moments. With a diverse sound where intensity and ease, tension and freedom intersect, the group captures their own unique charm.

The title track 'Like Fire' continues the narrative of their previous song 'Sign', depicting the moment when one is deeply drawn to another and emotions spiral out of control, rendered in a rough and sexy atmosphere. Built on powerful beats and synthesizer sounds, the track maximizes dance energy, and member Yoon Ye-chan participated directly in composing, adding the team's signature color.

Previously, 82MAJOR achieved a career high with their fifth mini album 'FEELM', recording their best first-week sales to date. The title track 'Sign' stood out on various global music charts and earned the honor of ranking 9th on Billboard's '25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2026'.

Riding this momentum, 82MAJOR has won trophies at a series of prestigious award ceremonies, including the 'Weibo International Entertainment Award', 'Asia Culture Festival 2026', 'KMA 2026', and the '2026 K World Dream Awards'. They have also successfully completed solo concerts in Hong Kong and Bangkok, fan concerts in Seoul and Macau, and a fan meeting in Shanghai, showcasing broad activities both at home and abroad.

Meanwhile, 82MAJOR will hold a live performance today (the 2nd) at 8 p.m. at Cheonggye Square in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, to commemorate the release of their second single 'HEAT', officially launching their comeback activities. The live performance will be broadcast on KPOPCON's YouTube channel.
