KBS 2TV will premiere a new variety program, 'Jobless Lee Sedol,' in October to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the match against AlphaGo.

'Jobless Lee Sedol' captures Lee Sedol working firsthand at various job sites in fields that cannot be replaced by AI, following his departure from the world of Go. The program follows Lee Sedol, who recorded one win against AlphaGo in the 2016 match before retiring, as he takes on real workplaces as the 'representative jobless person of humanity.'

Producer Lee Myung-sub and writer Yoo Ji-hye are taking part in production. Producer Lee Myung-sub directed 'Hong Kim Dong Jeon' and 'Method Club,' while writer Yoo Ji-hye has experience producing reality variety shows through the 'Money Game' series, including 'Born to Travel the World (Taegye Ilju).'

The two teaser posters released alongside the program are striking. One shows Lee Sedol riding an old scooter under a wide-open sky, while the other captures him cleaning windows with only ropes on the exterior wall of a high-rise building. Neither poster reveals Lee Sedol's face, adding curiosity about his expression beneath the helmet.

Lee Sedol drew attention online after throwing the ceremonial first pitch at Jamsil Baseball Stadium on August 27 and then climbing the stadium stairs carrying a beer backpack. Reactions continued on social media and online communities, such as 'Is that really Lee Sedol?' and 'An update on someone who lost his job to AI.'

The story behind how he came to sell beer at the baseball stadium will be revealed through the broadcast. 'Jobless Lee Sedol' will air on KBS 2TV in October.
