Domestic nuclear power-related stocks finished trading with mixed gains and losses across individual names in the regular session on the 4th, ahead of the weekend.
■ Rising Stocks... Doosan Enerbility Firm, Woojin Entech Biggest Gainer
Doosan Enerbility closed at 79,800 won, up 0.75% from the previous trading day. While falling slightly short of the 80,000-won level, it ended the week on a firm note.
KEPCO E&C closed up 0.37% at 107,800 won, and KEPCO KPS rose 1.32% to finish at 45,900 won. Woori Technology ended trading up 1.23% at 10,630 won, and Soosan IDC rose 0.47% to 21,250 won.
Woojin closed up 1.49% at 12,900 won, and Orbitech gained 1.52% to 4,325 won. Notably, Woojin Entech climbed 2.12% to 12,990 won, posting the largest gain among the comparison stocks for the day.
■ Falling Stocks... Korea Electric Power and Geumhwa PSC Weak
In contrast, Korea Electric Power fell 0.61% to 32,250 won, and Geumhwa PSC also showed weakness, closing down 2.07% at 33,100 won.
■ Points to Watch After the Weekend
As the session on the 4th showed differentiated movements among individual stocks rather than a uniform direction for nuclear power stocks as a whole, attention is focused on how they will perform in the new trading week after the weekend. In particular, whether Doosan Enerbility can recover the 80,000-won level, along with the movements of major nuclear power stocks such as KEPCO E&C, KEPCO KPS, and Woori Technology, are expected to be key points to watch.
