Jisoo, a member of the popular Japanese girl group HANA, has taken her first step as a solo artist under the name 'LEE JISOO.'

Sony Music Entertainment Korea announced that LEE JISOO released her debut single 'MISMATCH' today (the 8th) through various online music platforms.

HANA is a seven-member girl group enjoying unrivaled popularity in Japan, consisting of Chika, Naoko, Jisoo, Yuri, Momoka, Koharu, and Mahina. Jisoo, the group's only Korean member, becomes the first member of HANA to debut as a soloist with this single.

The debut single contains a total of two tracks: the title track 'MISMATCH' and the B-side 'Movie Star.' LEE JISOO centered the lyrics on Korean, her native language, while weaving in English lyrics harmoniously, and she participated directly in writing and composing to capture the path she has walked and her resolve for the future. Notably, Chanmina, the producer of HANA, took part in producing the B-side 'Movie Star,' enhancing its quality.

In previously released teaser content, LEE JISOO teased the album's distinctive concept with striking visuals featuring an electric guitar and metallic bandages, drawing anticipation from fans around the world.

LEE JISOO shared that it is especially meaningful to make her debut through Sony Music Entertainment Korea on her birthday, and expressed her hope that this single, which candidly captures her true self and the things she loves, will give strength to everyone.

Solo artist LEE JISOO plans to continue her active career both in Korea and abroad, beginning with the release of this debut single.
