Girl group UNIS will release their remake single "Haneul-tang Byeol-tang" today (the 8th) at noon through various online music platforms.
The new song is a reinterpretation of a hit by the female duo BB, originally released in 1997. While preserving the original's bouncy melody and lively energy, some of the lyrics were refined so that today's idols and fans can relate. UNIS's signature kitschy charm and trendy K-pop sound have been added, elevating the quality of the reinterpretation.
A promotional video for the new song will also be released at 6 p.m. that day. The members are set to complete the song with styling infused with a Gen Z Y2K sensibility and playful charm.
Meanwhile, UNIS has been actively promoting both domestically and internationally, having released their first Japanese mini-album in July.
