EVAN swept both the album and music charts on the day of release with his first mini album, 'DEATH OF ME.'

According to Hanteo Chart, 'DEATH OF ME' recorded 461,488 copies in sales on September 7, the day of its release, topping the daily album chart. The album also made strides on music streaming charts. The title track 'Death of Me' took first place on Bugs' real-time chart at 8 p.m. that day and ranked fifth on Melon's 'Hot 100' chart. The other tracks on the album also made it onto the Melon chart.

The overseas response was equally enthusiastic. The mini album ranked first on iTunes' 'Top Albums' chart in 10 countries and regions, including Brazil, Indonesia, Thailand, and Turkey, and entered the charts in a total of 28 countries and regions. The title track also topped iTunes' 'Top Songs' chart in seven countries.

'DEATH OF ME' is EVAN's first new release in about two months, following the digital single 'RIDE OR DIE' released in June. The album contains a total of eight tracks, with EVAN leading the production himself and embedding his own story. The title track is based on a heavy pop R&B sound.

On September 7, EVAN held his debut showcase at the Grand Peace Palace of Kyung Hee University in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, where he revealed performances of the album's tracks for the first time. His fandom, 'EVER,' attended in person, and online viewers from 191 countries and regions joined as well. The show featured a variety of songs including 'Death of Me,' 'Twilight,' 'Not Enough,' 'Immature,' and 'Going Home,' and in response to fans' encore requests, the title track performance was staged once more.

After the showcase, EVAN shared his thoughts, saying, 'I feel so relieved and happy to finally share the album I worked on for so long with the world and to see EVER in person. I've just started my activities, and there's so much more to show you, so I hope you'll look forward to it and follow along. I'll work hard and do a great job with my first mini album promotions.'

EVAN will begin his full-fledged comeback activities starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 10th.
