Boy group CLOSE YOUR EYES will make their comeback on the 30th with their 4th mini album '256th Note'. Ahead of the release, their agency Uncore has been sequentially revealing the tracks as individual videos, heightening anticipation for the comeback.

On the 13th at 8 p.m., Uncore released a highlight medley of the new album's tracks by CLOSE YOUR EYES (Jeon Min-uk, Ma Jing-xiang, Jang Yeo-jun, Kim Sung-min, Song Seung-ho, Kenshin, and Seo Kyoung-bae) through the group's official YouTube channel. Instead of putting all the songs in one video, the seven tracks were each produced as separate videos to emphasize the character of each song.

The album contains a total of seven tracks, beginning with 'Open Your Eyes', followed by the title track 'Drop That!', 'Vibe Check', 'Slowly Bleed', 'Fool For You', 'Baby Bossa Nova', and 'Eternity'. The first track, 'Open Your Eyes', will be pre-released on the 18th at 6 p.m. along with its music video.

The title track 'Drop That!' samples Yun Shi-nae's 'Enjoy This Night' and reinterprets it in a 1990s street hip-hop style. It combines the improvisational nature of jazz with hip-hop sampling techniques, with Jeon Min-uk and Song Seung-ho participating in writing the lyrics. Intense strings and an upright bass create a distinctive mood.

The b-side tracks are equally colorful. 'Open Your Eyes', a song blending jazz's free improvisation with hip-hop and R&B elements, features pianist Johan Kim and saxophonist Jacob Skesni, with Jeon Min-uk and Kenshin taking part in the lyrics. 'Vibe Check' is a pop track with lyrics co-written by Kenshin and Kim Sung-min, weaving together sophisticated piano, restrained bass, and groovy drum sounds. 'Slowly Bleed' conveys complex emotions through falsetto vocals and expressive delivery. 'Fool For You' is an R&B track with lyrics by Jang Yeo-jun, Song Seung-ho, and Jeon Min-uk, characterized by a lo-fi texture and an emotional melody. 'Baby Bossa Nova' harmonizes Jeon Min-uk's lyrics with a feature from rising artist Ju Hye-rin, containing modern pop drums and emotive melodies. The final track, 'Eternity', features lyrics written by all the members, expressing sincere feelings toward their fandom, CLOSER.

The album title '256th Note' was inspired by the 256th note, the shortest musical note, capturing momentary emotions across the seven tracks. The album spans a variety of genres including jazz, hip-hop, R&B, pop, bossa nova, and ballad, with the members directly participating in writing lyrics for many of the songs to further sharpen their musical identity.

CLOSE YOUR EYES will release '256th Note' on the 30th at 6 p.m. through online music platforms and hold a comeback live both online and offline at 8 p.m. the same day.
