On the fourth day of the show, Young-sik spends time alone by a stream, sorting out his feelings. He shared his new resolve, saying, "Instead of continuously knocking on a door that won't open, wouldn't it be better to knock on another door of opportunity?"

Young-sik then went to the women's quarters and proposed a walk to Young-sook, showing a proactive side. During the walk, he complimented her, saying, "A cuteness that's unique to Young-sook? Something like that exists," and Young-sook responded with laughter. Watching this, Lee Yi-kyung cheered him on, saying, "You need to shoot an arrow (of love) properly!"

Meanwhile, Young-chul visited the women's quarters before Young-sik, but when Young-sik got the chance to talk, he expressed his disappointment, saying, "There's no reason for me to be here anymore." The three MCs — Defconn, Song Hae-na, and Lee Yi-kyung — also felt sorry for Young-chul.

Gwang-su's renewed attempt also drew attention. He gathered the courage to visit the women's quarters, but when the single woman he approached replied, "I'm putting on makeup right now," he backed off before trying again. Gwang-su said, "But thinking about it, I was too much of a coward," then headed to the women's quarters and shouted, "I want to have a talk!"

Meanwhile, the episode of 'I Am SOLO' that aired on the 9th recorded a combined viewership rating of 4.3% among paid broadcasting households in the metropolitan area, with a per-minute peak of 5.3%, according to Nielsen Korea. It ranked first in the target 'M/F 2049' rating with 2.4%. It also ranked second in the 'TV-OTT Non-Drama Buzzworthiness' category of Good Data Corporation's 'Fundex Chart' (announced on September 8).

The changes in the relationships among Young-sik, Young-sook, and Young-chul, as well as Gwang-su's challenge, will air on the 16th at 10:30 p.m. on ENA and SBS Plus.
