Band Soran will complete this year's musical narrative with the release of their new EP [Layer] at 6 p.m. today (the 18th) through various music streaming sites.

This album is the first EP to be unveiled since the group's reorganization into a solo system with Ko Young-bae in January. The album title [Layer] carries the meaning that the moments accumulated one by one since the new beginning have formed layer upon layer to create the Soran of today.

The title track 'On the Verge of Goodbye' is a ballad that stands out with its rocking sound. Capturing the heart-wrenching emotions of an impending breakup, the song offers a charm distinct from Soran's existing musical color. In particular, it draws anticipation as the second collaboration with composer Park Woo-sang, who previously worked with the band on the hit song 'Love Is Not a Crime.'

The tracklist is also rich. Including the title track, the album contains a total of five songs: 'Draw Me an Apple,' 'Delivery,' 'ceremony' featuring Mi-yeon of (G)I-DLE, and the new song 'Hello (Insa),' spanning a wide range of genres and moods.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the album's release, Soran will hold a pop-up store at the MPMG headquarters from the 20th to the 24th. Afterwards, the band plans to continue its active schedule with performances at the 'Joy Olapark Festival' and the 'Grand Mint Festival 2026.'
