POSCO Future M announced in a regulatory filing on the 22nd that it has signed a supply contract with SK On for LFP (lithium iron phosphate) cathode materials for secondary batteries, worth 1.0742 trillion won.

According to the filing, the contract value is 1,074,219,374,798 won. This amounts to 36.6% of the company's consolidated revenue for 2025 (2,938,698,184,392 won).

The sales and supply region is the United States and elsewhere, and the contract period runs from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2029. The contract also includes a provision allowing the supply period to be extended to December 31, 2031 through future consultation with the customer.

There is no contract deposit or advance payment, with payment to be collected as sales proceed. The contract value was converted using the exchange rate of 1,384.3 won per dollar, the benchmark rate announced by the Seoul Foreign Exchange Brokerage on September 22, 2026.

The company stated that the contract value may fluctuate depending on changes in raw material prices and exchange rates. The contract value and period may also change through future consultation with the customer.
