Singer Lee Chae-yeon is making her official debut in the Japanese market.

Her agency, Day One Dream, released a teaser image announcing her Japan debut through its official SNS at noon on September 21. Lee Chae-yeon is set to release her first official single, 'ボクノコエ (My Voice),' on October 8 and hold a debut showcase.

This expansion into Japan is being pursued as the first project of D1 RECORDS, a music label newly established by Day One Dream's Japanese subsidiary, Day One Dream Japan. As the label's first artist, Lee Chae-yeon will begin her activities in Japan.

Lee Chae-yeon, formerly of the girl group IZ*ONE, has solidified her status as a 'performance queen' with a string of hit songs since going solo, including 'HUSH RUSH,' 'KNOCK,' 'LET'S DANCE,' and 'No Tears On The Dancefloor.' She plans to use this Japanese activity as a stepping stone to expand her presence across Asia.

Day One Dream Japan stated, "By welcoming Lee Chae-yeon as the label's first artist, we will build up the artist's brand value and fandom through high-quality content planning tailored to the Japanese market and systematic management."
