In the 12th episode of Channel A's 'Baseball Queen 2,' the new players of the Black Queens each take on different challenges ahead of their eighth game of the season.

Choi Hye-bin, a former softball player who joined in Season 2, had been posting lackluster numbers with 5 hits in 15 at-bats and a .333 batting average. Unable to hide her nerves before taking the field as the fifth batter, she struggled to regain her hitting feel during training. Expressing regret that she was not helping the team, she requested a one-on-one meeting with manager Choo Shin-soo.

During the meeting, Choi Hye-bin confessed, "Honestly, I don't know why (the bat) isn't making contact. I can't see the path of the ball." Manager Choo Shin-soo consoled her, saying, "I can see you're more frustrated with yourself than I or the coaches are." Weighed down by falling short of the coaching staff's expectations, Choi Hye-bin eventually shed tears, and manager Choo Shin-soo encouraged her, saying, "Let's find a way together," and conducted tailored hitting training.

In the same game, Kim Se-hyun gets her first career start. Kim Se-hyun, who had gone hitless in four plate appearances as a pinch hitter until then, showcased a unique routine at the plate that day. Manager Choo Shin-soo evaluated, "She's scattered at the plate; she does a lot of things," while coach Lee Dae-hyung expressed surprise, saying, "Kim Se-hyun is strange, it's fascinating..."

The game in question is the Black Queens' eighth of the season, facing the Cheonan City Junior Women's Baseball Team, played amid injury troubles. The game's outcome and scenes highlighting the fighting spirit of new players Choi Hye-bin, Kim Se-hyun, Park Min-seo, and Kim Na-young will air at 10 p.m. on the 24th.
