Dogecoin's (DOGE) decline was even more pronounced. Dogecoin fell 7.62% over 24 hours to $0.09305, posting one of the largest drops among major coins.

The S&P 500 index fell 0.75% to 7,706.03, and the Nasdaq Composite ended the session down 1.13% at 26,936.04.
