On the 23rd, ahead of the Chuseok holiday, HLB group stocks closed with mixed movements by stock. HLB ended flat, but some affiliates such as HLB Innovation and HLB Pharmaceutical closed higher.

◆ HLB Closes Flat…Innovation Leads with 6.0% Gain

As of the market close on the 23rd, HLB finished trading at 30,050 won, unchanged from the previous day. During the session, it fluctuated between 29,500 and 32,600 won.

Among the group stocks, HLB Innovation showed the most notable movement, rising 6.0% to 15,160 won. HLB Pharmaceutical also climbed 3.0% to 7,670 won. In addition, HLB Global rose 1.8% to 1,608 won, HLB Panjin gained 1.9% to 1,155 won, and HLB PEP closed up 0.8% at 4,300 won.

Meanwhile, some stocks declined. HLB Life Science fell 0.1% to 2,620 won, while HLB Genex closed at 1,781 won (-1.0%), HLB Therapeutics at 1,972 won (-0.5%), and HLB Biostep at 2,530 won (-0.5%).

◆ Refictu Receives FDA Approval…Group Stocks in Focus After Holiday

Attention is focused on how HLB and its group stocks will move on the first trading day after the holiday.

Meanwhile, new drug-related schedules surrounding HLB are also of interest to investors. According to HLB, its U.S. subsidiary Elevar Therapeutics received product approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for 'Refictu' (ingredient name: rilfapragatinib), an anticancer drug targeting fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 (FGFR2). The company explained that Refictu was approved as a second-line treatment for bile duct cancer with FGFR2 fusion or rearrangement.
