The Black Queens of Channel A's 'Baseball Queen 2' claimed their sixth win of the season with a dominant performance.

Facing the Cheonan City Junior women's baseball team, the Black Queens secured a 16-1 called-game victory. In their eighth game of the season, the Black Queens controlled the entire match with error-free defense, back-to-back home runs, and steady pitching from the pitching staff.

The game belonged to the Black Queens from the start. In the top of the first inning, Joo Su-jin single-handedly recorded all three outs, lifting the team's momentum, and in the bottom of the first, Song-ah's RBI hit and Choi Hye-bin's three-run homer put the first runs on the board. Kim Se-hyun and Park Min-seo then added home runs of their own, showcasing the team's powerful offense.

The defense was equally solid. Kim Seong-yeon made a fine play at third base, while the pitching staff of Song-ah, Ayaka, and Jang Su-young produced multiple three-up, three-down innings. Notably, in the top of the fifth inning, left fielder Choi Hyun-mi completed the Black Queens' first successful rundown play since the team's founding.

Choi Hyun-mi was also the one who drove the nail in the coffin. After Park Min-seo hit a massive home run in the bottom of the fifth, Choi Hyun-mi delivered the decisive run with the bases loaded and no outs, bringing the game to an end. Choi Hyun-mi said, "I think this is the result of us sticking together tenaciously."

The team's fighting spirit through injuries was also impressive. Kim Seong-yeon and Song-ah took the field with their hand injuries taped, and Song Min-ji participated in training with a cast on her fractured arm. During the game, Lee Su-yeon twisted her ankle, while Kim Seong-yeon experienced wrist pain and Joo Su-jin asked to be substituted due to leg muscle cramps, but the team remained unfazed.

Meanwhile, 'Baseball Queen 2' has maintained first place in the TV-OTT Thursday non-drama category of the 'Fundex Chart' for the third week of September, as compiled by Good Data Corporation. The show ranked third in video views, and Park Min-seo placed eighth in the TV-OTT non-drama cast popularity category, continuing to draw hot attention.

The Black Queens' ninth game is scheduled to air on October 1 at 10 p.m.
