The 3X3 men's basketball team defeated Qatar 19-10 in the final at the special court in Kinjo-Futo Station Square, capturing the first gold medal in the event's Asian Games history. With this victory, the South Korean delegation earned its 13th gold medal of these Games and, notably, the 800th gold medal in the country's overall Asian Games history.

Following the men's basketball team, led by head coach Nikolaas Mawulus, winning gold for the first time in 12 years, the 3X3 basketball team added another gold, giving Korean basketball back-to-back championship achievements.
