The price of Solana (SOL) has risen above $120 for the first time since January. According to CoinMarketCap on the morning of the 26th Korean time, Solana climbed to around $121, breaking the $120 mark for the first time since January 29.
Overseas crypto media outlet Coingape reported that Solana's price has more than doubled compared to this year's low, with funds flowing into spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and futures open interest also increasing.
◆ Up 3.56% in 24 Hours, 7.61% on the Week According to CoinGecko data cited by Coingape, SOL rose 3.56% over 24 hours and 7.61% over the week. During the same period, Bitcoin traded around $83,800, Ethereum hovered near $2,687, and XRP stood at about $1.57.
Coingape reported that the total cryptocurrency market capitalization was tallied at roughly $2.97 trillion, though it declined slightly over 24 hours.
◆ A Stepwise Rebound from the June Low of $60.39 Coingape explained that this rally marks another turning point in a recovery trend that began from the low of about $60.39 recorded in June. Based on the current price, Solana has more than doubled from its 2026 low.
Solana started from around $97 in mid-September and climbed above $112 on the 18th (local time). It then approached $120 early this week before finally breaking through that level. According to Coingape, August's 41.5% gain laid the foundation for September's price increase.
A post from The Kobeissi Letter on the 25th (local time), cited by Coingape, also noted that Solana broke above $120 for the first time since January 29 (local time) and has risen more than 100% from this year's low.
◆ US Solana Spot ETFs See $32.81 Million Daily Net Inflow Funds also flowed into US Solana spot ETFs. According to SoSoValue data cited by Coingape, US Solana spot ETFs recorded a net inflow of $32.81 million on the 24th (local time), the most recent completed trading day.
By individual fund, Bitwise's Solana staking ETF 'BSOL' received $27.97 million and Fidelity's 'FSOL' received $4.84 million. The combined assets of these funds total about $1.81 billion. Coingape reported that cumulative net inflows, including Thursday's inflow, were tallied at $1.52 billion.
◆ "Not a Single Spike but Stepwise Strength... Holding Above $120 Could Signal Support Level Shift" Coingape analyzed that this price movement reflects momentum strengthening gradually rather than a single sharp rally. It also projected that if the price holds above $120, evidence would strengthen that the previous price ceiling has turned into a short-term support level.
