Celltrion announced on the 29th that it has decided to acquire approximately 100 billion won worth of treasury shares (own shares) in order to stabilize its stock price and enhance shareholder value. ■ Overview of the Treasury Share Acquisition According to the regulatory filing, Celltrion will acquire 560,853 common shares, with a planned acquisition amount of 10,008,990,000 won. The expected acquisition period runs from September 30 to December 29, 2026, and will be carried out through open-market purchases on the Korea Exchange. The commissioned brokerage is NH Investment & Securities. The acquired treasury shares are expected to be held for at least six months from the final acquisition date.

■ Calculation Basis and Existing Holdings The planned acquisition amount was calculated based on the closing price of 178,300 won on September 28, the day before the board resolution. The company stated that the actual acquisition amount may vary depending on future stock price movements.

Prior to the acquisition decision, Celltrion held a total of 4,527,804 treasury shares. Of these, common shares acquired within the range of distributable profits amount to 1,131,226 shares, or 0.5% of total issued shares, while other acquired shares amount to 3,396,578 shares, or 1.5%. The daily purchase order limit is 99,194 common shares.
