Hyosung Chairman Cho Hyun-joon plans to acquire an additional 736 treasury shares. The acquisition is valued at approximately 117 million won, and Hyosung disclosed the details on the 29th through a report on planned securities transactions by executives and major shareholders.
According to the report, Chairman Cho is set to acquire 736 Hyosung common shares through after-hours trading on October 29. The planned unit price is 158,800 won per share, bringing the total transaction value to 116,876,800 won. The seller in this transaction is Lee Mi-kyung, with whom Chairman Cho signed a share purchase agreement on September 29. The planned unit price was calculated based on the closing price on September 29, the date the report was submitted, and may be changed by mutual agreement between the contracting parties.
Once the transaction is completed, Chairman Cho's stake in Hyosung will increase further. He currently holds 6,949,584 Hyosung shares, accounting for 41.51% of total issued shares. After the planned transaction, his holdings will rise to 6,950,320 shares, lifting his stake to 41.52%.
Chairman Cho has recently been continuing his acquisition of treasury shares. On September 4, he acquired 82,929 Hyosung common shares through over-the-counter purchase at 148,300 won per share, in a transaction worth 12,298,370,700 won. According to the disclosure, the combined trading volume over the previous six months including this planned transaction totals 83,665 shares, with a transaction value of 12,415,247,500 won. The disclosed trading ratio was stated as 0.50%.
