Girl group ILLIT has released a promotion calendar ahead of their comeback with their 5th mini album 'BREAK EVEN', officially kicking off the buildup to their new release.

In a video released on the 29th via the HYBE Labels YouTube channel, the schedule of upcoming content is revealed one by one as a crumpled receipt unfolds. The video carries the irritation and anger continuing from the 'BURNING' version concept film released the previous day, heightening anticipation for the new album.

According to the promotion schedule, ILLIT will first unveil the mood of their new song with a teasing video on October 5. This will be followed by the fandom 'GLLIT' version concept photos on the 6th, and the 'QUIET' and 'MAD' version concept photos on the 12th and 15th, respectively.

The official teasers for the music video of the title track 'Arrest You' will be released in two parts, on the 23rd and 25th. Then, at 6 p.m. on the 26th, the 5th mini album 'BREAK EVEN' and the full music video for the title track will be released worldwide simultaneously, wrapping up the comeback.

Ahead of the comeback, ILLIT will also hold their encore tour 'ILLIT LIVE 'Press START♥︎' ENCORE in KOREA' on October 17 and 18 at Inspire Arena in Incheon. The promotion calendar includes the phrase 'Special Stage' along with a siren light emoticon, suggesting that a special performance will take place at the venue.

The phrases in the calendar directly convey the honest and confident message ILLIT delivers through this new release. They include lines such as: "My closet, my mood, my plans — everything's a mess, and it's all because of you. I poured everything I had into it, but nothing came back," "Yes, I liked you. The 5th mini album 'BREAK EVEN' centers on the break-even point of a relationship. It expresses the resolve to no longer waste heart and time on someone who does not reciprocate one's efforts. In the title track 'Arrest You,' the group delivers a warning to someone who mistook their habitual kindness for something more.
