LIG Defense & Aerospace has decided to pay a total of 39,060,040,000 won in advance payments to three partner companies, including L3HARRIS TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (L3 Harris). The company announced this in a regulatory filing on the 29th.

The advance payment to be made equals 2.65% of the company's consolidated equity capital (1,476,107,505,166 won) as of 2025. Both the transaction date and the internal decision date are September 29, 2026.

The purpose of the payment is fulfillment of contracts and disbursement under the 'Rules on Payment of Advance and Interim Payments for the Defense Industry.' The payment amount consists of the portion of advance payments received from the Defense Acquisition Program Administration under defense contracts that is passed on to partner companies in accordance with relevant rules, as well as a portion paid according to contract terms.

The total outstanding balance of advance payments, including this decision, is 89,315,440,000 won. The payment amount and total balance were converted into Korean won using the first announced exchange rate of the Seoul Money Brokerage on the decision date of September 29 (1,360 won per dollar), and value-added tax is excluded.

The company explained that, due to security considerations in the defense industry, it did not disclose the names of all three recipient companies and only listed L3HARRIS TECHNOLOGIES, INC., the largest recipient.
