The National Pension Service (NPS) has been newly listed as a 'major shareholder' of Hanmi Pharmaceutical with a 10.04% stake.
According to the report on the ownership of specific securities by executives and major shareholders, submitted by the NPS on the 29th, the total number of shares held as of the 21st, the date the reporting obligation was triggered, amounts to 1,286,142 shares. Hanmi Pharmaceutical's total issued shares stand at 12,810,991, making the NPS's holding equivalent to a 10.04% stake.
Trading records show that the NPS added 10,750 shares through on-market purchases on the 21st, on top of the 1,275,890 shares it previously held. The acquisition price was 519,699 won per share. On the same day, it sold 498 common shares on the market at 516,933 won per share, bringing its final holding to 1,286,142 shares.
With this report, the NPS has been newly registered as a major shareholder holding 10% or more of Hanmi Pharmaceutical's shares.
