ILLIT's Minju has showcased an intense acting transformation through the 'BURNING' version concept film for their fifth mini album 'BREAK EVEN,' heightening anticipation for their comeback.

On the 29th at 8 p.m., Minju's cut of the 'BREAK EVEN' 'BURNING' version concept film was released on the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel. The video depicts the moment when anger, suppressed by someone else's ambiguous attitude, finally explodes.

Appearing with red-dyed hair and a cold expression, Minju grabs the steering wheel and speeds down the road, fires a gun at a car, and even pulls off a bold scene of cutting the vehicle apart with a chainsaw on its roof, captivating viewers.

The video also includes conversations between the members, further highlighting the flow of Minju's emotions. Yunah said, "Minju is red-hot today," adding, "It's not just fast—it's a speed with no intention of stopping. That's the price of all the time that was stolen." Regarding Minju destroying the car, she added, "Her expression was completely smiling. Like a relief."

Maurice Ravel's 'Boléro,' performed by the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, was used as the background music. The repeating classical rhythm and gradually intensifying sound blended with Minju's emotional changes to create a dramatic atmosphere.

The group's agency, BELIFT LAB, stated that ILLIT's musical narrative undergoes a change with this fifth mini album 'BREAK EVEN.' The story of 'relationships,' which had been central so far, reaches a turning point, as ILLIT conveys the message that they will no longer pour their hearts and time into someone who does not reciprocate their efforts.

The title track 'I'll Arrest You' contains a firm warning to someone who was misled by habitual kindness into misunderstanding.

Ahead of their comeback, ILLIT plans to sequentially release various content. Starting with the release of a teasing video on the 5th of next month, concept photos will be unveiled on the 6th, 12th, and 15th. On the 17th and 18th, special stages for the encore tour 'ILLIT LIVE 'PRESS START♥︎' ENCORE in KOREA' will be held at Inspire Arena in Incheon. The official teasers for the title track's music video will be released on the 23rd and 25th, with the full version out on the 26th at 6 p.m.
