Hwang Young-woong has once again claimed the top spot in the September Netizens' Awards Net Grand Prix.

The Net Grand Prix holds special significance at the Netizens' Awards, as it is a 'champion of champions' stage where various stars compete together. Candidates who have made a name for themselves beyond their individual fields compete on a single ranking board for fans' votes, making the battle for the Net Grand Prix crown one of the most attention-grabbing contests of the entire Netizens' Awards.

In the September Netizens' Awards Net Grand Prix vote, Hwang Young-woong took first place with a total of 54,824 votes (27.8%). Hwang has now ranked No. 1 for three consecutive months, following July and August. Although his vote count decreased compared to August's 62,136 votes (27.7%), his vote share remained in the 27% range. Notably, he defended his throne for three straight months amid fresh competition each month.

The top-tier chase pack behind Hwang Young-woong also remained solid. Jang Han-byeol, who took second place immediately upon entering the August Net Grand Prix, kept his No. 2 spot in September with 21,604 votes (11.0%), proving his momentum was more than a one-month surge. Jung Seo-joo placed third with 17,840 votes (9.1%), Byeon Woo-seok fourth with 17,369 votes (8.8%), and Jang Min-ho fifth with 13,155 votes (6.7%). As a result, the top five ranking of Hwang Young-woong, Jang Han-byeol, Jung Seo-joo, Byeon Woo-seok, and Jang Min-ho remained unchanged from August. At the top of the board, the month was marked more by established powerhouses holding their ground than by shifts in the rankings.

However, a new variable emerged at No. 6. Newly joined Hwanhee secured 12,889 votes (6.5%), instantly entering the ranking at sixth place. The result is noteworthy given that he recorded a high rank immediately upon joining while the existing top-tier structure remained intact.

Hwanhee's arrival also brought changes to the lower rankings. Kim Hye-yoon, who was sixth in August, placed seventh with 9,937 votes (5.0%), and Son Tae-jin recorded eighth place with 8,827 votes (4.5%). Crossover group Libelante rose to ninth with 6,925 votes (3.5%), and Bin Ye-seo took tenth with 6,663 votes (3.4%), remaining in the top 10 following August.

Enoch came in 11th with 4,413 votes (2.2%). A tight ranking battle continued in the mid-to-lower tiers. Jung Dong-won recorded 12th place with 4,055 votes (2.1%), maintaining his August position, while Min Soo-hyun, who was 11th in August, landed at 13th with 3,920 votes (2.0%). Park Chang-geun followed at 14th with 3,534 votes (1.8%), Choon-gil at 15th with 2,930 votes (1.5%), and Park Ji-hyun at 16th with 2,827 votes (1.4%).

The competition for votes continued in the lower ranks as well. Maijin took 17th place with 2,103 votes (1.1%), and Cho Yong-pil placed 18th with 2,070 votes (1.1%) — a gap of just 33 votes between the two candidates. Lee Se-young recorded 19th with 811 votes (0.4%), and crossover group Fortena marked 20th with 278 votes (0.1%), completing the September Net Grand Prix rankings.

With Hwang Young-woong once again defending the top spot in the 'champion of champions' contest, the existing top five — Jang Han-byeol, Jung Seo-joo, Byeon Woo-seok, and Jang Min-ho — all held their positions. Attention is now focused on what kind of dynamic Hwanhee's debut at No. 6 will create in the future Net Grand Prix ranking race.
