On KBS2's 'Salimnam (Men Who Live Alone) Season 2,' siblings Park Seo-jin and Park Hyo-jung took on the finals stage of the 'Gukjungbak makeup play' and received a participation prize.
With a work themed on Kim Hong-do's 'Ssireum' (Korean wrestling), the two advanced to the finals, which only 50 of 275 teams could reach. During preparations for the finals, they held idea meetings for a runway performance, and completed their performance by referencing the ssireum-era ceremonial gestures of Kang Ho-dong and Park Kwang-deok. Even after arriving in Jeonju, they focused on practicing until late at night.
On the day of the finals, an unexpected situation arose when the 'wrestler dummy' prop made by Park Seo-jin was damaged, but after quick repairs, they took the stage. Performing under the name 'Sacheonpo Sibling Ssireum Team,' the two won over the audience with a taffy-candy performance, tumbling, and a lambada celebration. Although they failed to advance to the final round, they recorded a meaningful experience by receiving a participation prize.
After winning the prize, the siblings had a video call with their parents and shared, "It's a prize more precious than first place." Park Hyo-jung said that while she did not receive the 3 million won prize money, she gained memories worth just as much. Park Seo-jin said that studying folk paintings deepened his interest in traditional culture and history, and expressed hope that through the 'Gukjungbak makeup play,' many people would become interested in Korean cultural artifacts.

The broadcast also featured Ji Sang-ryeol returning to the music scene as 'G.C Hammer' after 20 years, appearing on the 'Music Bank' stage. Featuring on Mighty Mouth's new song 'Soju Night,' he led the atmosphere by performing the challenge choreography alongside SHINee's Minho.
Ji Sang-ryeol confessed to feeling nervous and having stage fright about singing before the performance, but he delivered a highly polished performance on the live broadcast, earning applause from the audience. After the stage, Young Tak, Minho, and his family cheered him on. Ji Sang-ryeol encouraged others to take on challenges, saying, "After reaching middle age, everyone has their own treasure island."
Meanwhile, 'Salimnam Season 2' airs every Saturday at 10:35 p.m.
