KBS2 variety program 'The Return of Superman' received a Presidential Commendation on the occasion of the 14th Population Day, reaffirming its standing as the nation's premier parenting variety show.

The recently aired 638th episode was presented under the theme 'Congratulations on Becoming a Super Mom.' With MCs Kim Jong-min, Lalala, and special MC Sion of NCT WISH joining, comedian couple Choi Yang-rak and Pang Hyun-sook—known as the No. 1 comedian couple—stepped in as one-day childcare helpers for the couple Son Min-soo and Im Ra-ra, taking care of the Gangdan twins.

On this day, while Son Min-soo and Im Ra-ra were out, Choi Yang-rak brushed the twin siblings' teeth at the same time. During the tooth-brushing, a 'cross brusha-brusha' situation unfolded with their hands crossing, drawing laughter. In particular, when the toothbrush touched Dan's mouth, she stuck out her tongue and waved both arms to express her joy. Gang and Dan also sprinkled bean powder on the floor for tactile play, showing their innocent, cheerful selves.

The one who delivered the greatest touching moment was Pang Hyun-sook. Over the course of three nights and four days, she prepared a 60-dish table including braised short ribs, grilled beef short ribs, salmon, seasoned raw crab, various side dishes, six kinds of kimchi, tteok, and seaweed soup. Pang Hyun-sook said, "I prepared it with the heart of a mother visiting her daughter's home," and Im Ra-ra, moved by the meal filled with devotion and love, shed tears.

Meanwhile, 'The Return of Superman' has maintained steady popularity for 13 years since its first broadcast in 2013. The program was also selected as the most influential observation variety program at the '2026 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards,' and airs every Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. on KBS2.
