According to the regulatory filing, the contract amount is 109,085,117,769 won, excluding value-added tax. This equals 3.0% of the company's most recent revenue of 3,696,379,351,601 won based on the consolidated financial statements as of the end of 2025.
Regarding the project details, this contract covers the supply of spare parts procurement and maintenance, technical support services, and phase maintenance to ensure stable operational availability of the MUH-1s operated by the Republic of Korea Marine Corps during the 4th PBL life cycle. The contract period runs from October 8, 2026, to December 31, 2031. There is a contract deposit and advance payment, and payments will be made in accordance with the Defense Acquisition Program Act and the Rules on Payment of Commencement and Interim Funds for the Defense Industry.
Korea Aerospace Industries explained that a PBL project is a contract method in which performance indicators and targets are set, and settlement—including performance-based incentives and penalties—is carried out according to the degree of achievement during the contract performance period. Accordingly, the contract amount may vary depending on the results of performance measurement.
The company also stated that the disclosure content may change depending on future progress, and that it will re-disclose if any changes occur.
