80,000-Won Level Collapses in Just One Day... October 12 Share Price After Holiday Is Key Watch Point

On October 8, in the domestic stock market, Doosan Enerbility closed the session by falling from the 80,000-won range to the 70,000-won range the previous day. As the stock failed to hold the 80,000-won level, attention is also focused on its direction after the holiday. Earlier, Doosan Enerbility finished the regular session on October 7 at 80,500 won. With the 80,000-won level collapsing in just one day, whether the stock can recover that price range going forward is drawing attention.

Notably, October 9 is a Hangul Day public holiday, and the domestic stock market will be closed. Accordingly, the direction of the share price on October 12, the next trading day, is a key watch point.

Korea-U.S. Nuclear Framework Announced... Expectations for Expanded Overseas Expansion

Meanwhile, regarding the nuclear power industry, moves to expand overseas presence based on Korea-U.S. cooperation continue, making it necessary to keep an eye on external issues.

On October 7, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy held the first Nuclear Export Leaders' Forum at the Korea Press Center in Seoul, attended by about 100 figures from industry, academia, research, and government in the nuclear sector. The event was organized to discuss ways for domestic nuclear power companies to enter overseas markets and to strengthen public-private cooperation, based on the Korea-U.S. nuclear framework announced on October 1.

The framework includes a plan to invest up to $120 billion to build eight large nuclear reactors in the United States. Of these, two would use the Korean-designed APR1400, while the remaining six would use Westinghouse's AP1000.

The government plans to strengthen related support measures, such as certification acquisition, supplier registration, and export credit insurance, to help domestic companies enter the global nuclear supply chain.

Recovery to 80,000 Won vs. Continued Correction... Order Receipts Need Confirmation

Amid these continuing policy moves to expand nuclear exports, attention is focused on whether Doosan Enerbility's share price can recover the 80,000-won level after the holiday or whether the correction will continue. However, the specific business timelines of large-scale nuclear projects and whether domestic companies actually win orders remain to be confirmed.
