Yuqi of the group (G)I-DLE has announced a new beginning at twenty-seven with the release of her 2nd mini album '二十七 (27)' and its title track 'Stay'.

Her agency, Cube Entertainment, released the music video for 'Stay', the title track of Yuqi's 2nd mini album, through official SNS channels at 1 p.m. on the 8th.

■ Participated in Writing and Composing All Tracks... Singer-Songwriter Yuqi

In this new release, Yuqi participated in writing and composing all of the tracks, fully capturing her capabilities as a singer-songwriter. In particular, the album gains depth by reflecting Yuqi's current age of twenty-seven.

The title track 'Stay' is built on a light, cheerful band sound and delivers a message that even if the future is uncertain and we run into walls set by the world, we should move forward together chasing the light. While the b-side 'I Like You' portrayed the heart of loving oneself as one is, 'Stay' carries the meaning of staying by each other's side and growing together, showcasing a more mature musical world.

■ A Narrative of Youth and Friendship in the MV

In the released music video, Yuqi goes fishing with friends in nature and spends time at a cabin, candidly displaying warm friendship and the emotions of youth.

■ A Third Transformation Following 'FREAK' and 'M.O.'

Yuqi has attempted diverse musical transformations in her previous activities. Following the kitschy concept of 'FREAK', the title track of her 1st mini album, and the boom bap hip-hop sound of 'M.O.' released last year, she proved her broad spectrum once again with refreshing band music in this new song.

The album contains a total of six tracks in diverse genres, including the title track 'Stay', along with '快乐', 'Chamomile Tea', 'I Like You', 'Feels Right', and '银河之舞'.

Meanwhile, to commemorate the release of her 2nd mini album, Yuqi will hold the fan concert '2026 YUQI Fan-Con '27'' in Guangzhou, China on the 11th, continuing her meetings with global fans.
