Samsung Electronics, a top market-cap stock, closed at 263,000 won, down 5,500 won (2.05%) from the previous trading day. SK Hynix also ended the session at 1,686,000 won, down 37,000 won (2.15%). Samsung Electronics Preferred Shares fell 3,500 won (1.77%) to close at 194,500 won.
SK Square posted the largest decline among the top 10 market-cap stocks, plunging 83,000 won (7.27%) from the previous trading day to 1,059,000 won. Samsung Electro-Mechanics also closed at 1,559,000 won, down 45,000 won (2.81%).

Hyundai Motor fell 11,500 won (3.42%) to close at 324,500 won, while KB Financial Group ended at 163,400 won, down 5,100 won (3.03%).
Samsung Biologics dropped 57,000 won (4.46%) to 1,220,000 won, and Samsung Life Insurance fell 11,000 won (3.91%) to 270,000 won.
