Miss Kim was welcomed by Haenam residents who visited the set. Her father, Kim Young-sik, also appeared and livened up the atmosphere with his witty remarks, befitting the original Mr. Kim. When Miss Kim asked, "Do you want to become more famous than me?" Kim Young-sik replied, "I do have that ambition," drawing laughter.
■ Mudflats and Fast Tidal Currents... The Secret Behind Haenam Seaweed's Fame
Residents cited Haenam's excellent mudflats and fast tidal currents as natural reasons for the fame of Haenam seaweed. Miss Kim then encountered an elderly man singing her hit song 'Yeopguri' on the street before visiting a seaweed farm. The elderly man explained the seed-attaching process, saying, "Seaweed is usually cultivated from late October until April or May of the following year."
While touring the onshore seedling nursery and the seaweed farm, Miss Kim said, "Our Haenam is impressive." The fishermen showed their pride, saying, "Well now, we're the ones raising K-semiconductors."
■ "Thought I Was Eating Chicken"... Tasting Haenam Seaweed
At a processing plant, Miss Kim tasted Haenam seaweed and described the flavor: "Full of nuttiness and crispy. I thought I was eating chicken." Haenam seaweed is exported worldwide and has established itself as a key fishery product for local fishermen. Miss Kim livened up the atmosphere, saying, "The seaweed is so delicious—gimmi gimmi gimmi~ Our gimgi is the best."
At the end of the broadcast, a scene featured tasting various seaweed dishes, including pickled seaweed and seaweed soup, alongside beef shabu-shabu at a local restaurant. Miss Kim expressed her affection for her hometown food, saying, "The pickled seaweed is today's kick!"
