■ "A place for my last meal before I die" — dumplings recommended by Lee Yeon-bok

During his trip to Taiwan, Lee Sang-jun visited a dumpling restaurant recommended by chef Lee Yeon-bok and tasted shrimp dumplings and jajangmyeon. He described the texture of the hand-pulled noodles as "like eating at a really good handmade sujebi restaurant," and raved about the shrimp dumplings, saying, "There's no need to go anywhere else — this is the best." He picked the restaurant as "the place I'd have my last meal before I die," emphasizing the harmonious taste of the dumpling skin, juicy meat, and shrimp.

■ 'Sang-jun Quiz on the Block' with a Filipino tourist

His conversation with a Filipino tourist he met on the airport MRT showcased his characteristic glibness and humor. As Lee Sang-jun kept asking questions, the Filipino tourist replied through a translator, "I think I may have sat in the wrong seat," drawing laughter, and Lee Sang-jun shouted "Sang-jun Quiz on the Block," showing off his variety show instincts.

■ "Tastes like chewing on a sofa" — a parade of unique food reviews

Next, Lee Sang-jun ate mu rice cakes, fresh-tasting them as "the taste of chewing on a sofa as a kid," and went on to taste a variety of foods including pan-fried oysters and soy sauce egg pork rice. He noted that following the Korean food boom, Taiwanese food could also gain popularity worldwide.

■ From beef intestine noodles to brown sugar bubble tea and shu qiu bing

At a beef intestine noodle restaurant recommended by a tourist, he described the noodles by comparing them to enoki mushrooms and the taste to crab soup. After trying brown sugar bubble tea for dessert, he said, "Now I understand why so many people seek it out." He then sampled Nu Wa crackers and the traditional Taiwanese dessert shu qiu bing, expressing great satisfaction. In particular, he introduced shu qiu bing as having a chewy cookie-like taste, saying, "If I ate it with coffee, I could eat 40 of them," and praised all the other crackers as delicious as well.

Meanwhile, episode 8 of 'Lee Sang-jun's Faraway Restaurant' is set to be released on YouTube on October 17 at 5 p.m.
