Pacific Music Group (PMG) has established its Japan branch, 'PMG Japan,' officially moving to strengthen its influence in the Asian music market.

Headquartered in Hong Kong, PMG aims to discover artists from across Asia and showcase them on the global stage. The newly opened Japan branch plans to conduct a wide range of businesses based on its local network, including artist development, record production, management, promotion, brand partnerships, and cross-border collaborations. PMG Japan will serve as a hub connecting the Japanese music market with the global music industry.

[First Artist: JP THE WAVY]

JP THE WAVY, a rising star in Japan's hip-hop scene, has been selected as PMG Japan's first artist. According to officials, JP THE WAVY is set to release new music through the new partnership, with support for expanding into Asia including Japan, as well as the U.S. and Western markets.

[Asia Collaboration Expansion Following Korea Branch]

PMG's Asia push has already been gaining momentum. Since establishing its Korea branch on March 15 this year, Pacific Music Group has signed various artists including singer Tiffany Young, Brody, Bang Yong-guk, Brin, and Lil Cherry. It is also actively collaborating with artists from across Asia, including Thailand's Fyeqoodgurl, Taiwan's Nasi (RIZING), and Hong Kong's Zolie Chan.

['A Hub Blending Local Insight and Global Reach']

Tomomi Takeshima and MiMi Shimada have been appointed co-CEOs of PMG Japan. The co-CEOs stated, "The launch of PMG Japan brings together a deep local understanding of the Japanese music industry and our artists with the international perspective we have built in the global music business," adding, "We hope PMG Japan, grounded in meaningful relationships within Japan, will become a hub where local insight and global reach come together."

Pacific Music Group plans to connect key Asian music markets through the establishment of its Japan branch, actively support artists' overseas activities and cross-border collaborations, and accelerate the building of a global music network.
