■ Over 300 Deposits Into the Account... Damages Could Grow Even Larger

The case came to light when the client discovered that large sums had been repeatedly transferred from her mother's account to a tenant. The client said her mother was unaware of the damage and asked the detective team for help.

An analysis of the mother's account records showed more than 300 transfers to the tenant. When money borrowed from acquaintances and overdraft withdrawals from her credit line account are added, the scale of the damage is believed to be even greater. Currently, the client's family is spending more than 4 million won per month on loan interest alone.

■ 3 Million Won Deposit, 600,000 Won Monthly Rent Contract... "Never Paid a Single Won of Rent"

The lease between the tenant and the landlord was signed in February 2024, with the tenant moving in under terms of a 3 million won deposit and 600,000 won monthly rent. However, immediately after moving in, the tenant demanded a partial return of the deposit, citing hospital bills, and never paid rent even once, claiming to suffer from a rare kidney disease, while also using up the entire deposit. The landlord was only able to get the tenant out after lending the tenant money for a goshiwon (study residence) seven months later.

■ "I Will Repay You With Filial Devotion" to Build Trust... Pressure Through Hints at Suicide

After leaving, the tenant claimed to work at a major corporation and promised to repay the overdue amounts with 100 million won secured through an employee loan, but in retrospect, the tenant kept demanding additional money in the name of personal rehabilitation. The tenant sent photos from a hospital to appeal for urgency and built trust with phrases like "I will repay you with filial devotion." Using loan repayment as a pretext, the tenant continually requested money under various names, including transportation costs, notarization fees, and surety insurance premiums. When securing funds became difficult, the tenant proposed taking out a loan from a private lender and also applied pressure with messages and photos hinting at suicide.

■ Yoo In-na: "They Must Be Caught Unconditionally"... Kim Poong and Defconn's Anger

Upon hearing the story, Kim Poong said, "This makes me so angry, seriously..." while Defconn expressed his fury, saying, "Did she leave her money with you? He's just like a rat. He feeds on her endlessly." Yoo In-na emphasized, "This isn't about finding something—this person must be caught unconditionally." The client teased further shocks, saying, "This is not the end."

The story of the landlord in her 70s and her tenant will air on Channel A's 'Detectives' Trade Secret' on Sunday, October 12, at 10 p.m.
