Actor Kim Hyung-mook made a special appearance in episode 6 of the Disney+ and Channel A drama 'Dive to You,' drawing attention with his comedic acting.

In the drama, Kim Hyung-mook played 'Professor Kim,' a hotel culinary arts professor of Yoon Haru (played by Jang Se-hyuk), who time-slips back to 2013. Professor Kim gave his students a mission to make a dessert to be served at his hotel, setting strict evaluation standards. He raised tensions on set by declaring, "Only one plate that passes my strict standards will survive," and "The rest all go to the trash can."

Amid this, a scene in which Professor Kim encounters Yoon Haru's Dubai chewy cookie for the first time emerged as a comedic highlight. Initially wary of its unfamiliar appearance, Professor Kim could not hide his surprise and delight after tasting it. Marveling at the new flavor, he became lost in an evocation of the Arab world, and when he tried to eat more of the remaining cookies and was stopped, he made a sullen expression that drew laughter.

Although his screen time was brief, Kim Hyung-mook breathed life into the drama with a performance that shifted between the authority of a mentor and humor.
