The deadline for the rehabilitation plan that HDC subsidiary IPARK Youngchang must submit to the court has been extended by one month. With rehabilitation proceedings underway, the schedule for submitting the rehabilitation plan—a key task for normalizing the company—has been adjusted.
HDC announced on the 15th, through a corrective disclosure regarding the commencement decision for IPARK Youngchang's rehabilitation proceedings, that the rehabilitation plan submission deadline has been changed from October 19, 2026 to November 19. This correction pertains to the change in the rehabilitation plan submission period and is not a new decision regarding the commencement of rehabilitation proceedings itself.
[How the Rehabilitation Proceedings Have Progressed]
IPARK Youngchang received a decision on May 18 to commence rehabilitation proceedings from the Seoul Rehabilitation Court. The case number is 2026Hap1067, and the court appointed CEO Yu Wi-dong as the administrator at the time.
The proceedings then progressed sequentially. The submission period for the lists of rehabilitation creditors, rehabilitation secured creditors, and shareholders was set from May 18 to June 8, while the reporting period for rehabilitation claims, rehabilitation security rights, and shares was set from June 9 to 22. The investigation period for rehabilitation claims and rehabilitation security rights was designated from June 23 to July 6.
[What Remains the Key Issue]
With this deadline extension, IPARK Youngchang has secured an additional month beyond the original schedule. However, the extension of the submission deadline alone makes it difficult to judge the likelihood of the rehabilitation plan's approval or the normalization of management. The key issue depends on whether IPARK Youngchang submits the rehabilitation plan within the revised deadline and how the court's subsequent proceedings unfold.
[This disclosure concerns the change in the submission deadline for the rehabilitation plan of subsidiary IPARK Youngchang. It does not imply the approval of the rehabilitation plan or the conclusion of rehabilitation proceedings, and the outcome may vary depending on future court decisions and the progress of proceedings.]
