KBS 2TV has released a teaser video featuring the character Kim Yu-sin from its new epic drama 'Munmu (文武)'. The teaser centers on the firm conviction and resolve of Kim Yu-sin, a loyal retainer who devoted his entire life to Silla, with Park Sung-woong taking on the role of Kim Yu-sin in a striking transformation.

'Munmu' is set against the backdrop of 600 years of continuous war and the upheaval of the Three Kingdoms, depicting the story of leaders who risk everything for a single victory. The screenplay is written by Kim Ri-heon and Hong Jin-i, directed by Kim Young-jo and Ku Seong-jun, and jointly produced by Keyeast and Monster Union, with Lee Ho as the producer in charge.

In the teaser, Kim Yu-sin, played by Park Sung-woong, exudes a heavy presence in the middle of a battlefield still bearing the scars of war. His bloodstained armor, tightly gripped sword, and the narration—"There is a general who has fought without rest his entire life for Silla, Your Majesty"—convey the fierce life of Kim Yu-sin.

Kim Yu-sin lets out a roar that shakes the battlefield, declaring, "I, Kim Yu-sin, have come here. Take my sword," and urges his soldiers on with the words, "Enjoy even defeat, and enjoy even death." He then leads the charge as Silla's army rushes toward the enemy lines with the cry "For Silla!" The line "If Silla can live again, I will gladly die here" highlights Kim Yu-sin's unwavering loyalty.

The production team stated, "The 'Loyalty (忠)' teaser shows Kim Yu-sin's firm determination to protect his country at the cost of his life against any threat. Please look forward to Kim Yu-sin's strong leadership as he embarks on the great task of unifying the Three Kingdoms amid the crossing of life and death on the battlefield."

Meanwhile, 'Munmu' will premiere on KBS 2TV on Saturday, November 14 at 9:20 p.m.
